Job Description

Payroll Administrator for a government agency in Jönköping! We are looking for a meticulous and service-oriented payroll administrator for a government agency in Jönköping.

In this role, you will handle payroll administrative tasks with a focus on verifying payroll data. You will work with a team to ensure that the payroll process runs smoothly and efficiently. Additionally, you will provide support and advice to colleagues on payroll-related issues. You will be part of a finance unit consisting of a total of 13 employees, where 4 people specifically work with payroll administration.

The assignment is full-time starting from 2025-04-01 and will last until 2025-09-30, with the possibility of extension. The workplace is at the agency in Jönköping. Working hours are during the day on weekdays and apply to full-time.

Responsibilities:

Process and verify payroll data
Prepare payroll lists as well as reports and statistics
Report taxes and employer contributions
Compile time and absence reports
Answer questions from employees regarding salary, vacation, and other payroll-related matters

Qualifications

We expect you to have:

High school education or equivalent
At least 1 year of experience working as a payroll administrator
Good knowledge of MS Office or equivalent
Experience with payroll systems (e.g., Heroma, Agda, or equivalent)
Knowledge of collective agreements
Fluent Swedish in both spoken and written form

Meritorious:

Experience working independently with payroll administration in a larger organization
